Meet julie

Julie is no stranger to the conflicting messages surrounding health. Once in college she followed a diet that encouraged eating sweets for breakfast as supposedly you would have longer to burn them off. Sadly it never worked. A native of Texas, she moved to Portland in 2011 via living in the United Kingdom with her husband and two children. It was there in the UK that she fell in love with the life-changing power of strength training, and she has never looked back. Seeing physical changes propelled her to gradually change her family’s nutrition into a creative, healthy, and sustainable lifestyle for all members to enjoy.

When she isn’t training, you can find her dreaming up new landscape designs for her yard, challenging her teenage son to ping pong, or finding the perfect color of paint for a creative project. She loves cheering on people of all different ages to live their best life and has the pleasure of working at Hyatt Training Mondays through Fridays.
